overGrive 3.3.0 beta released

You can download the new version here.

New Features:

  • Backup Only option
  • Exclude files by extension
  • Select how items are removed from Google Drive
  • Several bugs fixes and performance improvements.
More information about the new preferences options can be found on the overGrive instructions pages. 

Users that are upgrading from earlier versions could delete the following files from the local Google Drive folder, and restart overGrive if they have any issues after updating. (note these files are hidden by default. To view in your File browser press Ctrl+H)

  • .overgrive.lastsync
  • .overgrive.cache
  • .overgrive.auth

If you would like to report a bug, please send us your zipped log file to assist us in resolving an issue as soon as possible. The log file can be found in your Home folder called .overgrive.log .This file is a hidden file. To view in your File browser press Ctrl+H

Some of the translations are not complete at this point (see greyed out languages on the overGrive page). If you would like to assist with translating overGrive to your language please let us know.
